Meet Linda Nusbaum

Hi, my name is Linda Nusbaum, and I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have a private practice here, in Long Beach, and I specialize in couples. I’ve been a therapist for about ten years.

This is a second career for me. I used to be a journalist. As a journalist, I used to cover people’s stories, and I really enjoyed that aspect of helping people who were struggling to get some attention.

The only thing I couldn’t do is really solve their problems. So, that part became pretty frustrating for me. As a therapist, what I get to do is really help people find a way to live a happier, fuller life.

That comes with understanding yourself, because, really, when people go to therapy, they’ve tried everything they know to make their life work. I get that. What I can do is offer you a fresh pair of eyes to help you do things that might be different for you, but might be very beneficial.
